About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

With Collection, Sony repackages three of Carole King's finest 1970s recordings, for sale in one budget-priced box. Chief among them is the classic Tapestry, one of the biggest selling pop albums of all time, and for good reason as its timeless tracks continue to inspire and edify 30 years after its initial release. Also in the package are Really Rosie and the sublime Music. This is an excellent place to start for anyone getting interested in King for the first time. While Tapestry is the clear standout, the other titles in the box will underscore her particular genius for both lyric and melody, as well as her truly lovely and enigmatic singing voice.
