January 08, 2006: This is essential punk when it first started back in 1977-78 with the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, and the Damned. The UK version is superior to the US version, so get this one!! The US version has a comparatively lousy demo-sounding version of "White Riot" which is a great song (WHY do record companies DO this??!!) and omits other good tracks on the UK version.

September 21, 2004: This record has to be the greatest punk record to come out of england. No offecen to the Sex Pistol but its hard to beat the rawness of this record. Also with songs like White Riot, London Burning, Janie Jones, complete control. This is the Godfather Rip Strummer
