A sweet and beautiful low-key collection of lullabies performed by a variety of artists ranging from Jean Redpath to Alison Kinaird. The arrangements cover everything from multiple voices (with and without instrumentation) to solo performers singing a cappella. The common thread: all songs you can play to lull the children to sleep (and these recordings are perhaps equally as useful for lulling the grownups to sleep as well).
