November 09, 2007: I love this album! She attempts all kinds of things, and hits every base hard. Raindrops will win the best song Grammy this year if there's any justice (heard it on Grey's Anatomy too, recently). Woke Up White sounds like The Clash in their prime. Let It Kill Ya tackles drug abuse from a completely different angle than is usually heard in Rock or Pop. Imani's production recalls George Martin, but unlike the Beatles she plays gorgeous violin all by herself. The best thing though is her sumptuous voice. You just want to move into it and stay there for a few decades! Ahhhhh....
