Similar to Randy Newman, once you hear Leon singing his own material it becomes difficult not to equally appreciate his interpretations with the hit versions recorded by George Benson ("This Masquerade"), the Carpenters ("A Song for You"), and Joe Cocker ("Delta Lady").
