While this budget double-disc of hits is fine and has many of Faron Young's hit singles, it's far less definitive than Capitol's double-disc set The Complete Capitol Hits of Faron Young, or the Country Music Foundations' Live Fast, Love Hard: Original Capitol Recordings, 1952-1962. The AIM marketing recordings also fare less well in sound quality and have little in terms of notation. For a couple of dollars more you'll be able to have something that will actually settle the hunger for an excellent compilation of Young tracks than merely a decent one. Thom Jurek, All Music Guide
