About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The Best of Culture Club is a superb budget-line collection, a ten-track disc that has absolutely no filler and every one of their Top 40 hits -- "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me," "Time (Clock of the Heart)," "I'll Tumble 4 Ya," "Church of the Poison Mind," "Karma Chameleon," "Miss Me Blind," "It's a Miracle," "The War Song" (which isn't on the more extensive At Worst) and "Move Away." It's unfortunate that the sampled Malcolm McLaren intro to At Worst is still tacked onto this collection (the only problem is, it arrives in from of "Do You Really...," which isn't at the beginning of the disc), but this budget-priced disc, in many ways, is an even better overview for most fans than its big brother. May 27, 2005: This is a great way to get these great songs at a budget price. Some of my favorite songs are "I'll Tumble for Ya", "It's a Miracle", "Time(Clock of the Heart), and "Victims". I think that this has been an underrated group. These songs have real staying power. I think that this is because the upbeat songs seem so enthusiastic and creatively offbeat, and the ballads are so earnest. Probably everyone can identify with these songs in some way.
