February 16, 2006: Watching The Detectives is eerily sexy, arguably more so than Costello's. While the entire album is very (obviously) DD, for lack of a better cliche, their versions provide a strange twist to the originals. Regardless of Thank You's arrival time, I do think it is appropriate for a once-in-a-while nastalgic day.
