Usually, her seductive voice can make the mediocre songs enticing, but the album truly soars when she has a strong song, like "Imagination." February 01, 2008: Tamia has to be one of the most underestimated singers around, and I can't understand why. Once you get a listen to her debut album, produced by the great Quincy Jones, you'll know why she stands out from the rest. Her beautiful voice soars over her competition literally and sincerely. Although there are only two or three luke warm songs that don't quite simmer to the top. The tracks to listen out for would be "You Put A Move On My Heart" which is a bonus track and the very first song she recorded, also the lovely remake of "Careless Whispers". Briliant voice.

November 02, 2000: I think Tamia is a very beautiful lady and a very pretty voice. She is young and very blessed to get started at such a young age. In the future I pray and wish to follow her footsteps because I also love to sing, but in a town where I live, it is very hard to be seen or recognized. But as long as I try, hopefully God will answer my prayers. To even meet her would be good enough for me. Love ya girl. -Vicky Haeup
