About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Tori Amos has opened her back catalog to release her first ever compilation entitled Tales of a Librarian. Amos describes the 2-disc CD/DVD compilation as her musical autobiography. The album features 20 songs that document a career spanning more than a decade. On the disc, the singer-songwriter revisits and reconditions the original material and offers a new perspective on some of her most beloved songs such as "Silent All These Years," "Winter," and "Me and a Gun." In addition, Tales of a Librarian includes four new songs (Angels, Snow Cherries From France, Mary, and Sweet Dreams) and a single dance remix of "Professional Widow." A bonus DVD features five songs recorded live during sound check for the final show of Tori's summer 2003 North American tour. Barnes & Noble

February 07, 2004: I ordered this cd several days ago, and I'm pleased to say that I'm not dissapointed!! I have been a "toriphile" for at least 5 years, and this new compilation of her greatest hits is absolutely the best!! I had the great opportunity to see her live at Radio City Music Hall in N.Y.C., and it was an out of body experience. She is in every sense of the word a true "musician". I love Tori Amos's music, and will never tire listening to it.
