With Supersexy Swingin' Sounds, White Zombie offer a collection of ten remixes of songs from Astro-Creep: 2000, plus a new mix of their cover of KC & the Sunshine Band's "I'm Your Boogie Man" (which was originally on the Crow: City of Angels soundtrack). Not quite as experimental or dance-oriented as they would like to be, White Zombie have always flirted with industrial and disco, but at their core they are a metal band, although one that reconfigures the kitschy pleasures of pop culture much in the vein of the Cramps and the B-52's. Supersexy Swingin' Sounds isn't a bad listen, but it seems like White Zombie are hopping on the bandwagon instead of carving out new camp territory of their own. February 28, 2006: In the wonderful world of remix albums very few seem to improve on the originals Swinging Sounds nails it.....Grease Paint and Monkey Brains sounds just like the title suggest....weird and creepy......This is Robs best attempt to sound as dark as he wants to come across......Blood,Milk and Sky is by far the coolest song on this record.....It is also produced by P.M.Dawn....yes P.M.Dawn.....If I was Rob I would call these guys for any upcoming recordings......

February 03, 2000: White Zombie's SUPERSEXY SWINGIN' SOUNDS consists of a unique musical hybrid: a fgusion of dance music and alternative rock. I really enjoyed hearing the songs on this album--and would highly recommend it to anyone else!
