June 26, 2003: I was married to Mr. Reed's bassist when he cut "East Bound and Down". I have the Master tape of the first rehearsal of this song. Mr Reed's talents are far-reaching, from acting to choosing the best band in Nashville. I never get tired of Mr. Reed's music. I also have a rare MCA album never released to the public that shows a different side of Jerry Reed called "What Comes Around". It is awesome and a real departure from his usual humorous tunes. His full name is Jerry Reed Hubbard and even though I know him, I never get tired of hearing this talented man play a guitar and sing.
