About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Violin wunderkind Vanessa Mae shook up the classical music world with her crossover-turned The Violin Player in 1994. Storm, her second pop/classical venture, is even bolder, with the dress-to-kill virtuoso performing a mixture of classical, rock, and techno. Barnes & Noble

May 01, 2001: While not everyone will enjoy this album, those willing to explore a palette of traditional classical sound painted with brushes of pop and techno will find satisfaction in this album. I love it and would encourage even those a little put off by the mixing of styles to give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

December 04, 2000: This CD has a wonderful expressive sound unlike any other I have heard. I love the title song Storm, I found that the best way to appreciate all the sounds in this version is to put on your earphones and experience it in full. Can't wait for her next recording.
