March 17, 2009: I bought this CD online with my Wal-Mart gift card just a few months ago, and I love it. In "Storm the Gates of Hell", Demon Hunter stays true to the core of their music; combining awesome metal sounds and a pretty large religion, Christianity.
1. Storm the Gates of HellThis song is mostly screamo, but if you listen hard, you can get the gist of what they're saying.I'll skip a few and go to 10. Follow the Wolves This song is pretty good too. Less screamo than Storm the Gates of Hell, and it also has a softness to it as in "Carry Me Down". Mixing the persecution that Christians face every day, with the "stay out of the in-crowd" routine, this song certaintly does justice to both aspects. And finally, the bonus songs. Grand Finale is actually better than the first bonus song. It shows us how when all the others start persecuting with violence, we should tell us we're Christians as well, and not back down from our faith.Overall, I gave this CD five stars, and I hope you enjoy it.I Also Recommend: Twilight.

November 28, 2007: I was blown away at the Demon Hunter's intellectual lyrics as well as their awesome contrast between screaming and singing. Songs such as "Fading Away" and "Thorns" are very radio worthy with their catchy hooks and little screaming, where as "Storm the Gates of Hell," "Sixteen," and "Follow The Wolves" appeal to eveyone who likes their music just a little harder and they pack lyrical punches as well. The lyrics in this cd give listeners more of a lesson to learn as far as God goes. I didn't even know they were Christian until I listened to their last album and went online. Demon Hunter may be my fav. band of all time!
