About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Still Burning finds Mike Scott returning to the grand productions and big statements that made his work with the Waterboys distinctive. Although he can still stumble over his own ambitions, there are several sweeping songs on the record that should appeal to fans of Scott's "Big Music." Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

September 03, 2009: An excellent album for Waterboys fans looking to continue moving forward with Mike Scott's music during the Waterboys' hiatus in the late '90's before reforming in this decade. It also succeeds for people interested in the "big music" of the 1980's, and for that matter, anyone who appreciates strong songs, great instrumentation and meaningful statements.
