Borrowing equally from Tin Pan Alley and the punk revolution, Grammy winner Joe Jackson launched a successful career with early hits such as "Is She Really Going Out with Him?," "Look Sharp!," and "It's Different for Girls." This two-CD career overview includes those chestnuts and more, plus later radio faves like "You Can't Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want)," "Be My Number Two," and "Down to London." This package also features more recent fare such as "Obvious Song" and "Stranger than Fiction" as well as a couple of rarities: the B-side "Enough Is Not Enough" and Jackson's take on Jimmy Cliff's "The Harder They Come." The tracks have all been remastered from the original tapes, and the booklet includes classic photos, liner notes, and an interview with the artist. Barnes & Noble
