January 30, 2001: Sharleen Spiteri and her band of Scots deliver one of the best debuts in memory. ''I Don't Want a Lover'' is what good pop is all about, with adult lyrics. This band is huge in Europe and deserve world-wide renown. This was a good indication of what this talented band were going to deliver over their 15 years of recording. My advise would be to check out their greatest hits and if you enjoy that, then go back in their catalogue and check out the albums. You won't be sorry.
