January 25, 2007: I bought this years ago in an obscure CD store, when there still were CD stores, and "Songs" has been the biggest contributor to my songlists since. I felt the choice of songs were excellant for what one could fit in this CD format. Contemporary artists like Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Hoyt Axton, Kathy Mattea, etc, and especially the McGarrigles really put their souls into these songs. If you loved the series, and like songs that get inside you and touch your soul, this CD is for you.
