Editorial Reviews

A contemporary compile of trendy '70s songwriters. Notable for the inclusion of her duet with Neil Diamond, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" done solo! Pallid. James Chrispell, All Music Guide

August 21, 2003: I totally agree with the first reviewer. It's a lovely album. And the liner notes show all Babs' dogs, which I found endearing, too. Her voice is in top form and the songs are all dramatic and love

September 14, 2000: I love this album. It is one of Barbra's best of the 70's. I really don't understand the general lackluster reviews of this one; every cut is memorable. Who else but Barbra could make ''Tomorrow'' sound good? I suggest the reviewers take another listen; especially to ''Deep in the Night'', ''Stay Away'', and the lush solo version of ''You Don't Bring me Flowers''.
