Editorial Reviews

John Barry's score to the cult favorite Somewhere in Time is among his most romantic, seductive work. It proves that Barry can get sentimental when he chooses and that when he does, he never gets cloying. It's a richly romantic offering from one of the cinema's finest composers. May 23, 2009: I recently bought the Soundtrack album to the movie "Somewhere In Time". I had seen the movie when it first came out several years ago, and remembered it well. Recently I watched it again, on my computer, via the website "HULU".

It's a very touching, romantic movie, and the soundtrack really helps set the mood for it. After buying the musical soundtrack for the movie, I came to realize how much it sets a mood. I frequently play it as background music while I am on the Computer. It's very relaxing and non-intrusive. Personally I think it's enjoyable when I'm alone or with someone special.

February 19, 2005: This is music I have enjoyed since I was very young. Well, I'm still not all that old, being only sixteen, but I will never forget listening to 'Somewhere in Time' on every vacation trip I've ever taken, especially all the trips to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel. Though it's referred to as "go-to-sleep" music in my family, it will live on forever as the most beautiful music in the world (for me, at least). I can't imagine life without this album.
