About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The follow-up to Andrea Bocelli's remarkable 1997 smash Romanza, Sogno is a dream come true for fans of the tenor's sensuous singing and passionate pop songs. Powered by two tunes by Sartori and Quarantotto, the songwriting duo who brought us "Time to Say Goodbye," and a duet with chanteuse extraordinaire Celine Dion, Sogno capitalizes on its predecessor's formula for success. But Sogno isn't at all formulaic. Two of the album's most memorable songs were penned by Ennio Morricone, the celebrated and quirky composer who scored such films as "The Mission" and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Still, it's the tender caress of Bocelli's voice that ensures Sogno will go platinum. After all, 20 million Bocelli fans can't be wrong. Andrew Farach-Colton, Barnes & Noble

March 23, 2009: The music is contemporary, Bocelli's voice is out of this world beautiful and the album transcends language & genre.

August 20, 2003: When I first heard track #4, O Mare et Tu, I had to pull off the road to listen - probably the sexiest exchange of sensuality between a man and a woman I've heard through music! This entire album is from his Soul. I would like to hear more of Dulce Pontes, too. Thank you, Andrea!
