About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Throughout their four-decade career, Rush could always be counted on to deliver a good live show. Note-perfect renditions of their hits -- even, as fans know, of Neil Peart's drum solo -- have been the highlights of live albums from Exit Stage Left (1981) to Rush in Rio (2003), delivered every five years. On schedule is Snakes and Arrows Live, delivering live the classics plus songs from their 2007 release, which heralded something of a return to the band's '70s prog-rock sound. Barnes & Noble

June 03, 2008: Having been a longtime fan of rush, I have all their live offerings(which are numerous). These three are connsumate musicians and have never sounded better. The only reason it's not a five star rating is because some of the songs have already been given the live treatment.

April 17, 2008: The sound quality is superior to other Rush live offerings "Rush in Rio" and "R30". As good as "Snakes & Arrows" is (the studio cd), they could have pared it down to 4 or 5 songs instead of the 9 that is included. But for the most part, in my honest opinion, it is Rush's best live offering to date. Circumstances, Between the Wheels, Secret Touch really stand out (Now if they could just give "Tom Sawyer", "Spirit of Radio", and "Limelight" a rest!)
