This two-fer collects a pair of Rosemary Clooney's songbook tributes from the early '80s, recorded for the Concord label. Each of them gives her the opportunity to interpret the music of a great composer with a superior sextet that features cornetist Warren Vache, tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton, and guitarist Ed Bickert. Clooney sounds very enthusiastic and swings lightly on such songs as "Hooray for Love," "Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead," "My Shining Hour," "Be Careful, It's My Heart," "Cheek to Cheek," and "Stormy Weather."
