September 27, 2010: It seems like anything that has been a popular movie, is now making it's way to Broadway. So naturally I was skeptical when I heard they were making Shrek into a Broadway show.

Luckily, I was pleasantly delighted by the Broadway cast and a lot of the music as well! Sutton Foster's interpretation of Fiona is wonderful, Donkey is fun and funny, Shrek is very well cast, and the fairy tale creatures have two of the best songs in the entire show!

If you like your musicals happy and fun, Shrek will not be a miss!

The only problem for me is the finale song, which leaves something to be desired. I don't think I have ever made it through the entire song because I get so bored with it. Also, I dislike many of Shrek's songs so I skip them.

Yet the musical is still charming and delightful to listen to. I would love to be able to see it on Broadway!
