Sentimental Christmas features 21 holiday classics performed by some of the early 20th century's most recognized performers. Doris Day starts things off with "White Christmas," followed by Bing Crosby's well-known rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman" and Dinah Shore's "First Noel." Of all the featured performers, Crosby makes the most appearances here. Perhaps the most noteworthy performances come courtesy of Judy Garland and Orson Wells; these two performances bring an out-of-the-ordinary element to this otherwise straightforward holiday collection.
