March 24, 2009: Interestingly, I read critical reviews of this album which made me a bit skeptical about purchasing. Then I checked out some everyman reviews (like this one), thought to myself when do I ever take the advice of something like "Rolling Stone" and returned to the store and bought it. Was not disappointed that I did. This is one of my favorite albums. Having never had the chance to see Peter Gabriel perform this is a fine substitute but a tease at the same time. Anyway, it is a great selection of songs....the standouts for me are "Steam", "Digging In The Dirt", and "Sledgehammer". Obviously there is an emphasis on the "Us" album but I think it is safe to say if it is not his best album it certainly is among his best. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I Also Recommend: Hit, So, Us.

July 01, 2005: We saw the video (DVD) and just knew we needed it on CD to take along with us. If this music doesn't get down into your soul and get you up and dancing, perhaps you should have your loved ones make the proper arrangements. Paula Cole's voice is absolutely complimentary. Very powerful pairing.
