One of at least four Linda Clifford anthologies that takes its name from the singer's biggest hit, this particular Runaway Love was released in Germany by the Neon label in 2001. It's more extensive than the ten-track budget discs that have surfaced, and it's neither as recommendable nor as available as Sequel's Runaway Love: The Singles Anthology. It should at least be handy in a pinch when no other Clifford compilations are calling you from the bin. It does contain a good portion of her best singles and album cuts, including "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Shoot Your Best Shot," "If My Friends Could See Me Now," and -- naturally -- "Runaway Love."
