The credits alone looks like a who's who of rock at the time. Just for that alone should rate it 3 stars. Then there's the songs an extremely lush Paul McCatrney's Pure Gold, and John Lennon's Cookin' in the Kitchen of Love...how clever, how catchy. Bruce Chanell's Hey Baby compliments Ringo's own A Dose of Rock n Roll. This album acheives everthing it was suppose to a pure pop love letter to the world. Well produced, and at all times, very singable stuff. Something lacking nowdays that only Beatles could pull off. This is great stuff!
