December 14, 2001: This is one of the best modern compositions out there. I had the joy to sing Voices of Light with Camerata Chorale in Poughkeepsie, NY. At this performance, we had Carl Dreyer's silent film 'The Passion of Joan or Arc' with English sub-titles (the movie is in French.) Anonymous 4 were the voices of Joan, with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic as orchestra. I have been haunted by this music ever since, and needed to buy this recording. This CD is will be a perfect addition to your collection.

June 10, 2001: I've fallen completely in love with this piece. The passion expressed by the cello in particular and the flawless vocals is engrossing. I saw it performed live with the film it was based on playing simultaneously; it was incredible.
