Nawang Khechog's mission in life is one of the noblest. He seeks to spread messages of peace, love, and forgiveness throughout the world. Furthermore, he has chosen to use ancient ethnic instruments to do so. On Sounds of Peace, he defines -- well -- one way that peace might sound. His gentle atmospheres shine with pastoral beauty. Using acoustic instruments and natural processing (echo), Khechog achieves a space music effect with organic textures. The deep spirituality of Tibetan Buddhism is clear in every note of this soundscape. Khechog's experiences as a monk have shown him that the way is through peace, love, and forgiveness.
