This is the last of a three album series that began with Tapestry and continued with her Music album. Few artists have ever made three albums of the quality and entertainment value of these three albums (Rhymes & Reasons being the last of those three) but one does not need the other two to enjoy the beauty of this one, they just enhance the experience.
I Also Recommend: Tapestry, Music.

This is my favorite album ever, and certainly of Carole King's. It sets a mellow mood, it speaks to the soul and it is certainly not thin, even when compared to Tapestry and Music. Her voice is full of feeling, the passion of youth, and the knowledge of heartache, but still maintains the upbeat charisma that will get you singin' at the top of your lungs. A must have for anyone who like rainy afternoons, cups of tea with your best friend, curling up with a cat, and singing sweet songs from a long ago time. You'll love it.
