Revive Your Love Affair With Sam Harrisby Anonymous

February 12, 2003: Revival: For those who remember Sam Harris from Star Search fame but for some reason lost track of him. Here is your chance to revive your love affair with the voice that made us all feel every emotion under and over the rainbow during his debut to the American Public. On "Revival" Sam sings many of the songs that he treated us with on "Star Search" such as "Come To Me" and "Going Down Makes Me Shiver". It is great hearing these songs in their complete version and not an edited format to fit into a television show. "The Rescue" Sam first recorded in 1986 for his second album "Sam-I-AM". "The Rescue" is such a haunting song of how many of us may have felt when trying to rescue a close loved one in times of trouble. "A Change In My Life" is a throwback to the sounds of the old Motown Days. You can picture Sam on a brownstone doorstep with his pals singing acappella. "Don't Let The World Step On Your Soul" must be one of the best cuts on the album. The song was written by Sam?s long time collaborator Todd Schroeder. This song makes you think of your newborn loved one, so honest and pure and how you want to protect them from the harshness of the world. You can also take it to your own heart and remember not to let the world step on your soul. "The Circle" is a wonderful song that has a "Lion King" kind of feel to it about the great circle of life and how one needs to start living when it seems things have come to an end. The final cut on the album "I'll Be Here With You" is such a beautiful song with just Sam's voice and a solo guitar. This song sends chills throughout my body. This is a song that one would sing to a newborn, a scared child, a friend or to the love of your life. "Come rain or come shine, through thick and thin, for better or worse, I'll be here for you". What beautiful words, and with the way Sam sings those words makes it all the more touching and beautiful.

December 30, 2000: Sam Harris has an outstanding voice, saw him when he was on star search. They just don't use his voice to the best of it's ability. Needs the right producer.
