About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The album's title is a bit misleading, since Tokyo Rose (NJ) does little reinventing on its proper debut (not counting an amateurish EP the band put out on a tiny indie), but does an admirable job nonetheless flogging the same emotional pop-punk roots as many of the band's Sidecho peers. A promising beginning. Brian O'Neill, All Music Guide

August 13, 2003: if you buy one pop punk (ish) cd this summer, make it tokyo rose. you'll fall head over heels from the first track on. when i first got it, without even listening to it, i couldn't leave "saturday, everyday". but only i did, i was glad to find that the entire cd is that infectious.
