Editorial Reviews

Roth has generated a considerable amount of attention over the past few years, sometimes appearing controversial, at other times almost seeming to be part of the new age/new spiritual mainstream (though this latter suggestion might cause serious agitation on her part). Refuge, produced in collaboration with Russian vocalist Boris Grebenshikov, embraces standard forms and steps beyond them, thanks to Grebenshikov's resounding baritone. The album is dedicated to Tibet, with income from the album being donated to Tibetan support groups. A beautiful piece of work with a wonderful spiritual glow at its heart. April 17, 2003: I Just brought This album from a bookstore That sells New age and world music etc. This is one of my best albums of my collection. It's sensual and Spirual At the same time. I also loved the vocals from Russian vocailst Boris Grebenshikov. His voice has a sexual and spirual. a A Dark romatic feel to it. it keeps me moving my body. If you love tibetan chants and music i whoud reccomend this album. Keep up the good work!.
