This clean teen pop compilation comes complete with wacky DJ chatter and music from the fresh-faced popsters plastered on teenage bedroom walls across the world. With RADIO DISNEY, though, the teen stars’ sometimes risky material gets filtered out so it’s kid-friendly. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera -- relative old-timers on the Disney scene -- got their start on "The Mickey Mouse Club Show," and their cuts on RADIO DISNEY are appropriately clean. Britney serves up her bubblegum dance tune "Sodapop," while Christina turns in the almost adult contemporary rendition of the MULAN theme song, "Reflection." Most of the compilation consists of extremely popular radio hits from teen stars like 98 Degrees (featuring the vocals and harmonica of Stevie Wonder), Backstreet Boys, and mambo-man Lou Bega. And while '70s anthems like Queen’s "We Will Rock You" and the Village People’s "YMCA" might not be our first choice for a kids’ disc, the mix works because the cuts all have easy, singable melodies and are sung with fun-loving innocence. The RADIO DISNEY DJs also introduce a couple of new teeny-poppers-in-the-making, including the youthful English group, Steps. RADIO DISNEY JAMS, VOL. 2 offers kids of all ages an abundance of G-rated fun. Ganda Suthivarakom, Barnes & Noble
