The tween pop spotlight shone brightly on this lively trio's debut. It didn't hurt that Jump5, the last great pop group targeting the 8-12 age group, announced the end of their reign barely a week before PureNRG's debut dropped. It may have something to do with the fact that Norman Miller, Jump5's manager, also headed up the new group. Singers Jordan Yates (14), Carolyne Meyers (11), and Caroline Williams (12) have what it takes to please the tween crowds, a contagious energy, and their voices are surprisingly fit for the music. The fact that a throwback cover of "Footloose" is a perfect fit on this record tells you what kind of album it is -- light-heartedly and playful, exceptionally well produced and catchy, yet still meaningful. November 11, 2008: I just got this CD yesterday, and I already LOVE it! They are really good for their ages (the two girls are 11 and the boy is 14). Much better than some of the other singers that are popular today that are older than them. Some songs are more exciting than others, but overall it's a good CD. Here are the songs:

1. 360 - This is an OK song, but not one my favorites from them, cause it gets kind of boring. But it is a fun song to jump around and dance to. I like to whip out my air-guitar when I dance to it. :) 7/10

2. Live My Life For You - I really like this song, because it has great lyrics, a sweet message, and a great beat. But, you might be a little bored with it by the time it's over with. 8/10

3. What If - The best song on the CD!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! It has great lyrics and a great beat. I'm glad I bought this CD just because of this song! Way to go, PureNRG! 100/10

4. Pray - This is another slightly boring one. Not my favorite, but it's okay. 6/10

5. When I Get To Heaven - I actually really like this song. I think the lyrics are really cute and the message is good. It's fun to dance to, which I didn't expect from the title. This is one of my favorite songs of the CD. 9/10

6. Thy Word - I really like this song, because I think it has a great message. I especially like the bridge. This song is slower but you can still sort of dance to it. This is another favorite of mine. 9/10

7. This Madness - I think this song ROCKS! I love it! I find myself singing it all the time. I think it, as with most of the songs on this CD, has a great message. 9/10

8. Footloose - I really like this song! It's a great "jump-around-and-dance-and-do-air-guitar" song. It's just a really fun song! It rocks! 9/10

9. One Word - I like this song. It has a neat beat, and the lyrics are good. It's about love being the one thing that makes the world go round. It seems boring at first, but, it gets better as it goes on. 8/10

10. Someday - I love this song! It is just pure poetry! It's a really sweet, heart-warming song, about finding your true love. 10/10

11. Summertime - This song is about the season that we all love. The season we countdown to starting in February. (Or at least I do! :-p) Yep. Summer!!! Summertime is a really great song about having fun. And about how it doesn't really matter what you do in the summer, as long as you're with good friends. 9/10

12. It's Still Love - Similar to One Word, It's Still Love is about how love is the most important thing in the world, and it always has been, and always will be. It has a neat almost-disco beat that's fun to dance to. It's a great closer to the CD. 8/10
