Editorial Reviews

The soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's darkly funny crime classic Pulp Fiction manages to re-create the film's wildly careening sense of style, violence, and humor by concentrating on the surf music that comprises the bulk of the movie's incidental music and adding a few sexy oldies integral to the film's story ("Let's Stay Together," "Son of a Preacher Man," "You Never Can Tell"). Of course, the inclusion of dialogue and Urge Overkill's seductive cover of Neil Diamond's "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" doesn't hurt either. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

September 26, 2005: Let's face it, movie soundtracks usually are bad. Only a few movie soundtracks are good. The Clockwork Orange Soundtrack is good. But one of the best soundtracks from a movie is Pulp Fiction. It has Dick Dale and the Deltones on it, they play the opening song from the movie which is excellent. It has jungle boogie on their, classic song. This album also has dialogue from the movie. ALl the songs that were played in this movie, are on this album. I recommend it to anyone who loved the movie Pulp Fiction, and loves great music.
