Editorial Reviews

Tied in with a suicide-prevention hotline, this two-disc set certainly has the best intentions. And with many of its 33 songs being previously unreleased, there are plenty of reasons for fans of modern indie punk to pick up this set. But with Anti Flag, Common Rider, and Poison the Well representing the big names, some listeners won't find much value. It doesn't help that, by the end of disc two, every subgenre has been riffed to death, and differentiating between Digger and Dillinger Four has become a futile waste of time. January 04, 2005: I guess the main reason to get this is if you already like these bands and want some new unreleased tracks. I already know a few bands on here and found some new bands I'll eventually check out but in all the cd was a bit dissapointing. I found the first CD a bit to hardcore/screamo for my taste and the 2nd CD was -way- too pop punk. I should have known once I saw Yellowcard and The Movielife were on here. Would have given 2 stars but they get the extra for giving part of the profit to charity.
