About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Award-winning producer and R&B crooner Babyface takes a decidedly adult contemporary pop direction with his latest disc, Playlist, a nostalgic set of mellow Top 40 classics including James Taylor's "Fire & Rain," Dan Fogelberg's "Longer," and Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle." Barnes & Noble

February 16, 2008: I have heard a few of the songs from this CD on the radio but never knew who was singing. I am so excited to finally learn the name of this sweet songbird, 'Babyface'! I highly recommend 'Playlist' to everyone from my generation, late 60's-early 70's, from where these songs were taken, and also to the younger crowd, who will equally enjoy hearing sweet lyrics set to beautiful music, which seems to be so few & far between these days. (I'm sure they said the same about our 'Acid Rock', back in the day ! LOL !)Remakes of 'old songs' could sometimes be disastrous ! Thanks 'Babyface' for doing these 'oldies' proud !
