August 03, 2005: Not very successful when it was released in 1987, the year when Def Leppard ruled the charts with mega-album "Hysteria". Anyway, here it is on CD, and after listening to it a couple of times I realize it deserved so much more success back in the ´80s. Actually, it´s quite similar to Leppard - strong hooks, mighty production, etc.- but with Michael Schenker in top form it´s so much more than just another AOR-album. The new singer, Irishman Robin McAuley, is also doing a superb job. Opener "Gimme your love" was played frequently on European MTV, but despite this the big audience was not to be found. Nevertheless, great guitar music is, so to speak , timeless.
