About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

More than just another Latin pop tart, Mexico's Paulina Rubio has always matched her sultry looks with wicked songs and hip production. Her long-overdue return to recording hits all of today's pop trends, from the Santana-style guitars of "Mirame a Los Ojos" to the Cher-inspired "Y Yo Sigo Aqui," complete with digitally manipulated vocals. But Paulina's affection for her homeland rings clear on the growly Mexico City rock of "Lo Hare Por Ti" and the unbelievable techno ranchera "El Ultimo Adios." Mark Schwartz, Barnes & Noble

June 09, 2002: Every time I listen to this album, I remember my vacation in Mexico City and Guanajuato during August of 2001. What a good time I had, and everywhere I went, it seemed that Paulina Rubio's songs were playing on the radio or TV. I especially enjoy ''Yo No Soy Esa Mujer'', a hip women's-liberation-type song for which Rubio made an awesome video. I also like the soft ballad, ''Tal Vez, Quiza''
