About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

With Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics, George Carlin turns in a typically entertaining of politically charged comedy album punctuated by a couple of cutting routines about personal habits and social quirks. While his humor hasn't changed dramatically since the '70s, he is still consistently funny and, occasionally, thought-provoking. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

December 06, 2005: I hate writing praising reviews but for this I feel I must. Carlin's remarks on this are smart and damn hilarious. His comments concerning the misuse of the English language (i.e. how the airlines say we will now begin to 'pre-board') sure makes you think as well as laugh. There's also a funny look at dog ownership, the FCC, things you don't want to hear, and (while cleverly praising them for some points) feminist thinking. It all ties very well together with the title of this collection. Excellent Stuff!
