January 21, 2003: Leppard's "rearrangement" of Pachelbel's Canon is criminal. If you are a true devotee of music, rather than a novice merely in search of a sampling, this CD does not belong on your shelf. There are many better and more inclusive recordings of Baroque music. Conspicuously absent from this recording are any selections from Vivaldi's Four Seasons or Handel's Water Music, two of the greatest works in this genre of music. Furthermore, the orchestra's playing grates on one's nerves like the sound of a drill in a dentist's office. Look elsewhere, music lovers!

April 08, 2000: I have a very old copy(tape) of it that I made ten years ago. Since then, I have purchased numerous Baroque CD's, but none compared to the great selection of songs and orchestral style! The style and tone quality renders joy and depth in the heart. After ten years of thinking that the CD is non-existent, thanks to B&N for having it! A sure purchase!
