Editorial Reviews

If you're going to pillage someone else's ideas, then go for broke. Because even if you find yourself crammed between the barriers of creative space, utterly at a loss for ideas, expression, or thought, you'd still have a self-respect buzzing in your ear like a mad angelic insect, putting down the newspaper and taking out a cigar to remind you that, hell, if want to sound like Radiohead when even Thom Yorke doesn't want to sound like Radiohead, you might as well take it to preposterous, bombastic, over-the-top levels. Add church organs, mental electronics, riffs bouncing off each other like the monolithic screams in 2001: A Space Odyssey, and you'll finally be in position to crack skulls like coconuts and make the world's speakers ooze gooey blood. ~ Dean Carlson, All Music Guide All Music Guide

March 16, 2009: If you like melodious classic keyboard and love-ballad beauty brilliantly folded into violent, dark runs, you will love Muse. They combine the polarities of hard and fast with soft and sweet better than almost anyone, without diluting the quality of either.

May 11, 2007: I started loving Muse in eigth grade(now in 11th) when I heard their hit song "Time is Running Out" on the radio. I absolutely loved it. I don't remember my exact thoughts, but it was deffinetely like nothing I had ever heard before. I then soon after got into "Stockholm Syndrom" and "Hysteria". I downloaded these songs and listened to them one after the other. My freind then lent me both Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations. I immidiately put them on my iPod and they became my favorite albums. Origin of Symmetry is just like those two. I think that it has got to be the greatest one yet. The only way to listen to it is all the way through from beginning to end. ENJOY!
