About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

On My Way Here chronicles Aiken’s experiences over the past five years -- from second-season American Idol runner-up to pop and Broadway superstar. The album’s title song was co-written by Ryan Tedder and thematically addresses how the lessons we learn while growing up shape us into who we become as adults. Barnes & Noble

May 16, 2008: I've been waiting for his new CD for a long time. I have all of his CD's & this one is by far the best of his accomplishments. Clay is a wonderful singer & a fine performer.

May 12, 2008: I wanted Clay's new CD to be so good that I'm afraid I was much too critical when I played it through the first time. It was only during the second go 'round that I stopped willing it to be good and realized that it is GREAT. Actually, I love most of the songs and really, really, really like the rest. "Sacrificial Love" is especially moving and Clay couldn't have chosen a more perfect title song than "On My Way Here". If given the airplay time the album deserves, any number of the songs could really catch on. I love the up-tempo selections and the images of love and life created by the lyrics, which are beautifully and masterfully performed by Clay.
