Oasis of Bliss is the third volume in Real Music's Peace of Mind compilation series. As before it brings together tracks from most of the artists recording for the label, like Karunesh ("Stargazing"), 2002 ("Valley of Healing Waters"), and electro-harpist Hilary Stagg ("Beyond the Horizon"). Oasis is as sonically soothing as the words used in its titles and liner notes, from songs like Karunesh's "Moon Temple" to descriptive phrases like "wash away daily stresses" or "music crafted to bring you to a place of harmony." The music here isn't very curious. It sticks to the simplistic, contemplative piano lines, subtle woodwinds, and gauzy textures that have come to define new age in general. But it's still satisfactory as a relaxation tool. Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
