About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

With disc number four, the Swedish band strays from its Scandinavian black metal roots and, consciously or not, managed to tap into the nu-metal breed somewhat. Don't believe it? Compare the title track to anything that Static-X has ever released. The keyboards have moved from lush and atmospheric to punchy and pointed for the most part, and even the vocals of Bjorn Strid are less abrasive overall and alternate between heavy and serene. Old fans might have a difficult time adjusting to Natural Born Chaos, but it's an impressive disc in that it combines two seemingly disparate styles seamlessly into a unique listening experience. March 22, 2005: Well, in regards to what the first reviewer said, this is by no means a perfect album. It lacks in many respects. I liked the solos, but they weren't long enough for my taste. Give me more. The choruses were decent, but not great. Of course, if you're a Soilwork fan, then you probably already own this c.d. I would only recommend it to a true metal fan, which I cannot say I am.

December 08, 2002: Oh...Oh ...Oh.... This is the perfect CD. I couldn?t have done it better myself... Perfect mix of fast melodic metal and trashy riffs that are topped with outstanding vocals. The two guitarista are amazing and the drummer is....well listen for yourself. This is the best CD ever according to me. Just one thing to say: PERFERCTION!!!!!!!
