About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

This Japanese import collects 18 tracks from Sting's numerous film contributions, few of which ever achieved the popularity of his album cuts. It's an odd assortment that leaves out recent successes such as his Oscar-nominated work on Cold Mountain, and there's nothing here from 1982's excellent Brimstone & Treacle soundtrack, one of the artist's first forays into a solo career. My Funny Valentine: Sting at the Movies isn't dreadful, but it will probably appeal to die-hard fans only. Reverend Lee Power, All Music Guide
