Not all of the covers of Beatles tunes work perfectly, as can be expected. No one has ever come close to recording the kind of music the fab four did in the 1960's. There are some very notable songs here by the King Singers though. Because, may be as good or even better than the one on Abbey Road and the acapella version of Here, there, and everywhere has some amazinglybeautiful harmonies. There are only two songs that seem to fall short; Sgt. Pepper and the pops orchestral version of Eleanor Rigby. The Cinnci Pops version of Long and winding road is nicely done with a tenor saxophone. To conclude, if you are a skeptical Beatles purist this may fail to impress you, if you are open minded and like to hear new versions of these songs give this a try and a few listens before passing judgement.
