October 03, 2011: I purchased this for my husband (he is Irish) after watching the PBS documentary. He liked it because it features some of the best in the business, but some of the tracks seem like they were just forgotten tracks that the artists had forgotten about, dusted off and said to the compiler, "here, you can out this on the cd."

October 01, 2010: Very nice collection of traditional and modern Irish music. DVD is very informative. I never knew the revival of Irish music was a result of performances in the United States.

I Also Recommend: Song for Ireland.
